Lee W. Gale has been a member of the legal community in Southern California since 2006, representing businesses, governmental agencies, and individual clients in a variety of practice areas. His specialties are in the fields of criminal law, family law and civil litigation. Most recently, Mr. Gale served on a contract basis with Inland Defenders to serve as a Conflict Panel defense attorney for the Victorville Superior Court. In that position, he represented over 300 clients at trial and pre-trial phases in felony and misdemeanor matters.
In Mr. Gale's public entity practice he has served nearly all major school districts in California, advising his public entity clients in regards to personnel matters, public contracts, public works construction, and general administrative matters.
Mr. Gale has significant experience and expertise in the area of civil litigation, having engaged in the civil process from all perspectives and through all stages, from pre-litigation strategy through trial, arbitration, mediation and appeal. He has written both appellate and amicus briefs, and has appeared in civil court on a variety of pre-trial and post-judgment motions.
Mr. Gale was born in Columbus, Ohio and has lived nearly his entire life in Los Angeles, receiving his undergraduate degree in English Studies from UCLA in 2000. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Playwriting from USC’s School of Theatre in 2003, and received his Juris Doctor from the Southwestern University School of Law in 2006. Mr. Gale graduated from Southwestern University’s prestigious Southwestern Conceptual Approach to Legal Education (S.C.A.L.E.) program, at the time the only ABA-accredited 2-year legal education program in the nation. He is licensed to practice before all state courts, and federal court in the Central District.
